Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, yogurt, water, sugar, salt, baking soda, lemon juice, green chilies, grated ginger, and turmeric powder. Mix well until smooth and free of lumps.
Grease a 7-inch round cake pan or thali with oil and set aside.
In a steamer or a large pot, bring water to a boil.
Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and place it in the steamer or pot. Cover with a lid and steam for 15-20 minutes on medium heat, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
